LA LANDAISE Rooms and Table d'hôte at a Local's Home

Welcome to LA LANDAISE, located in Laluque, at the heart of the beautiful Landes region. Just 30 minutes away from the ocean and lakes, our homestay offers a comfortable and cozy experience for travelers.

We have two furnished rooms available, perfect for accommodating up to 4 people. Our homestay boasts a spacious area of over 200 m², with a fenced garden spanning around 2,000 m². Enjoy the privacy of our swimming pool, surrounded by a tranquil setting. The rooms are located on the upper floor, offering a lovely view of the garden. Each room is approximately 12 m² in size and comes with a mezzanine of 60 m². The mezzanine includes a reading room, library, desk, wardrobe, and shelves for each room. The shared bathroom features a bathtub and WC for the convenience of both bedrooms.

In each room, you'll find a comfortable 140 cm double bed, shelves, duvet, and pillows. Linen is provided for your convenience. An extra bed is available on the mezzanine (140 cm), and we also offer a travel cot for your little ones. Additionally, a top refrigerator is available on the mezzanine for your use.

While you won't have free access to the kitchen, our friendly host will serve you a delicious breakfast. In the evening, upon reservation and for an additional charge (ranging from 13.- to 30.-), you can enjoy our table d'hôte.

Parking is available in our shaded and enclosed garden. If you're visiting during the summer, the beach bus stop is just 300 m away. The ocean is a short 34 km drive away, and the towns of Castets and A63 motorway are 13 km away. If you're looking for relaxation, the thermal baths in Dax and Saint Paul-lès-Dax are only 18 km away.

Our homestay is located in a quiet area, with a grocery store, restaurant, and Museum of rural life in the Landes region nearby. During the winter period, the heating is set between 16 and 18°C, ensuring a cozy stay. We also have central heating and a wood stove for added comfort.

For your convenience, we offer laundry services on-site for a fee of 10,-. Stay connected with our WIFI, and feel free to browse our library, which includes books in French and German. Please note that we do not have a television, so feel free to bring your own computer if needed.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast, including bread, butter, homemade jam (with a variety of flavors), fruit, orange juice, and your choice of tea, coffee, or milk chocolate. Breakfast is served from dawn until 11 a.m.

Rooms are available from 5 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11 a.m.

Please note that the bathroom and WC are shared, but we provide daily cleaning service for your convenience.

May/June/September/October: 70,-
July/August + end of year: 85.- (weekly rental, arrival on Friday) x 7 nights = 595.-
A deposit of 30% is required upon reservation. (Decreasing price for monthly rental)
We accept payment via transfers or cash.

Please note that pets are not accepted in our homestay.

NOTICE:
Energy efficiency is important to us, and we maintain a temperature of 16°C to 18°C in the villa. We recommend bringing warm clothing for your comfort. Although we do not have a television, WIFI is available, so feel free to bring your own computers.

To reach LA LANDAISE:
When arriving in Laluque village, head towards the town hall. Once you reach the town hall, turn left, and you'll find our house opposite the water tower at 40 rue des Marronniers. If using GPS, please note that the correct address is "chestnut trees" with a single "n"! You can park in the garden, immediately to the right after the open gate.
