Description for B&B:

Located in the heart of Yonne in Burgundy, near Avallon, Carpe Diem is a charming guest house that welcomes guests to a former 18th and 19th century farm. Situated in the small village of Massangis, known for its stone quarry and serene river Serein, this guest house offers a truly unique experience.

The stone of Massangis is renowned worldwide, having been used in iconic structures such as the Eiffel Tower, Abbey of Fontenay, Grand Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Opera Garnier, MET of New York, and Ebisu Garden Place in Tokyo.

Carpe Diem offers five beautifully decorated bedrooms with a warm and inviting "family spirit." The larger rooms feature king size beds and all rooms offer either an Italian shower or an Island bath, depending on your preference.

With an enclosed garden and courtyard, guests can safely park their cars on the property. Breakfast is included in the stay, and guests have the option to dine at our table d'hôtes every night, except on Thursdays. Advanced booking is required for dinner.
