Welcome to Aux Prés du Berry B&B, a beautifully renovated 18th Century farmhouse that seamlessly blends historical charm with modern comforts. Our goal is to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for your stay. Whether you prefer basking in the sun, relaxing in the shade, or indulging in a bottle of wine on the terrace, our farmhouse is the perfect place to unwind.Your hosts, Carol and Ted, are dedicated to ensuring that you have the best experience possible in the picturesque Berry countryside. However, please note that our home is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
Situated on 2 acres of meticulously landscaped countryside, our B&B boasts an array of trees, shrubs, and vibrant flowering borders. Feel free to take a leisurely stroll through our property, which includes fruit and vegetable gardens that provide a plentiful harvest throughout the year for both guests and ourselves.
Dining at Aux Prés du Berry is a delightfully relaxed experience, with meals served alfresco under the garden pergola (weather permitting). Our evening meals often feature organic and seasonal produce from our own garden. We are more than happy to accommodate any special dietary needs or provide vegetarian options.
For our guests with pets, we offer a pet-friendly room conveniently located on the ground floor for easy access. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring your well-behaved pet, and we will gladly welcome them if our pet-friendly room is available.
Our location offers a serene and tranquil setting, while still being easily accessible from the motorway. Whether you are looking for a week-long holiday or a brief stopover on your way to the South of France and the Mediterranean, Aux Prés du Berry is the ideal choice. We are just 6 hours from Calais and a mere 10 minutes from the A20, exit 17. Limoges and Poitiers airports are within a 1-1.5 hour drive respectively, and the main train route from Paris to Toulouse stops nearby in the towns of Argenton sur Creuse or Chateauroux.
Surrounded by an array of captivating tourist sites, our B&B is conveniently located near the historic medieval market town of Argenton sur Creuse (just 8 km away) and Chateauroux, the capital of Indre (Department 36), which is within a 30 km radius. The breathtaking Eguzon lake-park and the Three Lakes district, known for their stunning views and water sports activities, are just a 20-minute drive away. Additionally, the Brenne National Park is only minutes from our doorstep. We have a wealth of information available to help you make the most of your stay in our region, and we are more than happy to assist you in any way we can.

Directions
To reach Aux Prés du Berry Bed & Breakfast, follow these instructions:
1. Take the exit at junction 17 of the A20 motorway.
2. Look for the signs indicating Montlucon, La Chatre, Neuvy Saint-Sepulcre, D927.
3. Proceed on the D927 for approximately 6 km.
4. Look out for a small lake on the right side of the road.
5. Shortly after the lake, you will spot a road on your right, which is the D30 leading to Chavin.
6. Look for the sign of Aux Prés du Berry Bed & Breakfast at this junction and turn onto the D30.
7. Drive for 4 km along this road.
8. When you reach a stop sign, make a right turn into the hamlet of Bonnilly.
9. In case you miss the turn on the D927, keep an eye out for a small airport on the right. The next road after that is the new D40 towards Chavin.
10. The hamlet of Bonnilly will be the first one you encounter on this road.
11. You may need to proceed a bit further as you have arrived slightly too much. Our location is the 3rd street on the right.
12. Look for a sign indicating our Bed & Breakfast and the Gites de France sign as well.
13. The road leading to our place may be quite narrow, but continue until you reach the end.
14. Once you reach the end of the road, you will see our sign and our Bed & Breakfast.
