Description for B&B:

Experience the tranquility of "rieux," the floating gardens, ponds of the Somme, and the picturesque towpath valley on a delightful stroll along the canal. This scenic route will lead you away from the bustling city center of Amiens and its majestic Gothic cathedral, providing a peaceful respite from traffic. Keep an eye out for beautiful bird species such as herons, swans, kingfishers, Grebes, and sparrows, which can be spotted throughout the year.

For a greener adventure along the Somme, we offer bicycles for your convenience. However, if you prefer to drive downtown, you can reach your destination within minutes.

Our commitment to using natural and ecological materials in our renovation process, as well as our everyday environmental practices regarding living environment, water management, energy, and waste, has earned us the prestigious "environment" qualification from the departmental committee of tourism. You can find us featured in the guidebook "1001 nights ecological" by Carolina Guilleminot and Pascal Gréboval, published by Editions Dakota.
