Located in a secluded countryside, this former 18th century farmhouse offers a tranquil retreat for up to 6 adults. Situated just 12 km away from Pompadour and surrounded by the breathtaking Vézère valley, this independent farmhouse is ideally placed on the border of the Limousin, Périgord, and Quercy regions. Nestled within a peaceful farmland property, it can be accessed via a small dead end drive, only 200 m away from the cow farm and the owners' house.

Boasting ample sunlight, the farmhouse is enveloped by a picturesque landscape of rolling meadows and woodlands. The expansive garden, spanning 2000 m2, is securely fenced with sheep wire net and wood bars. The living space, which occupies a total area of 115 m2, is located on the garden level, offering convenience and easy access. The charming interior features a spacious living room of 38 m2 with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings, a sofa-bed accommodating 2 persons, and a traditional fireplace known as "cantou".

Additionally, there are three double rooms within the farmhouse. The first double room, measuring 14 m2, is furnished with two 80cm beds. The second double room, covering 13 m2, contains a comfortable 140 cm bed. The third double room, occupying 10 m2, is equipped with two 80cm beds. The farmhouse also includes a well-appointed kitchen and dining room, covering 27 m2, providing a delightful space for culinary endeavors.

Furthermore, there is a bathroom complete with a bath and basin, a shower room with a shower and basin, a corridor, and a separate toilet.

Directions

To travel from Paris to Toulouse, take the A20 highway. Take Exit 45 towards Tulle and Vigeois. Follow road D3 to Vigeois, following the signs for the tourist road known as the "circuit de la vallée de la Vézère." Continue on D3 towards Objat for approximately 8 kilometers. Once you reach the hamlet called "Les Fombiardes," continue for another 500 meters. Take a right onto the road marked "Les Chaises Basses." The Gîte will be located 500 meters further on the left.
