Description for B&B:

Russell, Heather, Louis, and Henry warmly invite you to experience the utmost comfort and luxury at their exquisite 19th-century Chateau. Nestled in the charming village of Salechan, at the base of the majestic Pyrenean Mountains, this meticulously restored home offers a selection of 5 spacious and opulent rooms, each equipped with en-suite facilities and boasting breathtaking views of the mountains. Built in 1873, this three-story house is set back from the Route Nationale, ensuring complete privacy and seclusion. The front of the house exudes an air of grandeur, with its imposing marble columns and balcony. Step inside, and you will be greeted by a grand sweeping staircase, original parquet flooring, and a unique marble fireplace in every room, among other delightful features that await your discovery.

Each of our splendid rooms is named after the picturesque views that can be admired from its windows.

Situated at the front of our house, the Chambre St Julien beckons you to step onto its two private balconies, one of which overlooks the Pyrenees and offers a captivating vista of the beautiful Spa town of Bagneres De Luchon. This generously proportioned room faces south, exuding charm and character with its lovingly restored original ceiling, parquet flooring, and a magnificent marble fireplace. Its en-suite bathroom features a bath and shower, with an additional private south-facing balcony accessible from the bathroom.

Also situated proudly at the front of the house is the Chambre Pic Du Gar. This centrally located room boasts a grand balcony and mesmerizing views of Pic du Gar, providing a haven of comfort and tranquility. The room is incredibly spacious, with high ceilings and a beautiful wooden floor. Guests particularly adore the original fireplace and tasteful neutral decor. The en-suite bathroom features a large walk-in shower and extends the length of the room, with double doors opening out onto a private balcony.

Join us for breakfast in our elegantly wood-paneled dining room, where we can open the doors onto a tiled terrace during the summer months, creating a truly enchanting setting to savor your delectable continental breakfast and start your day on a high note.

In the evening, we invite you to return for a delightful dining experience. Our dining room, adorned with a Louis 13th chandelier, provides the perfect ambiance to indulge in local delicacies and flavors. By prior arrangement, you can join us for a 3-course meal, starting with an aperitif and featuring a selection of regional specialties. Our experienced host, who has been catering for many years, will ensure you savor the finest cuisine in the area, as one of our recent guests has attested. Your meal will be complemented by red or white wine and coffee. Vegetarian options are available upon request. For families with young children, we are more than happy to accommodate their earlier dining needs to maintain their routines.

We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to welcome you to our charming establishment and provide you with an unforgettable experience filled with comfort, elegance, and culinary delights.
