Description:

Description for B&B:

La Petite Rosière, our historic farm, is nestled in a secluded location on the southern foothills of the Vosges. Situated at the beginning of the mille-étangs ("thousand ponds") high plateau, where water flows towards the Mediterranean Sea, our farm offers a tranquil escape. Accessed via a small road that leads to the commune of La Rosière, our property is located at the end of this road, ensuring a peaceful and traffic-free environment.

Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, our farmhouse harmoniously blends with the old bakehouse and the small "tourelle." Across from the farm, a sprawling orchard gently slopes towards a serene bathing lake and its majestic rock formation. Beyond the lake lies an enchanting deciduous forest, where moss-covered rocks, ancient trees, and picturesque viewpoints await exploration.

Above our house, farm, and lake, the spring meadow stretches across the old donkey path that once connected our farm to the outside world. From the depths of this meadow, our house receives its water supply. Additionally, we have dedicated a portion of the meadow to cultivating fresh vegetables and potatoes.

Whether it be by the pond, amidst the forest's edge, on the rocks, or amidst the blooming natural meadows, our surroundings, adorned with young and old beeches, oaks, birches, and ash trees, offer countless opportunities for tranquility and connection with nature.

La Petite Rosière is a beautiful and peaceful place. Very nice rooms with a personal artistic touch. Lovely hosts - and the cuisine is a delight for tongue and eye. After five days in La Petite Rosière I felt rested and refreshed.
