Our property has received a prestigious 3-star rating from the renowned "Gites de France" association.To ensure your convenience, our owners Paul and Caty are fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
We offer four elegant and spacious en-suite bedrooms, including a family room that can accommodate up to four people. In total, we can accommodate up to 10 guests at a time. Each room is equipped with internet access, a flat screen TV with French channels, and a complimentary refreshments tray with tea, coffee, water, and biscuits.
Our rates include a delicious breakfast served in the lounge from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. Weather permitting, breakfast can also be enjoyed outdoors on the patio.
Check-in is between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and check-out is required by 11:00 am on the day of departure.
You can unwind and relax in our expansive mature garden, featuring a variety of fruit trees and a terrace area for delightful al fresco dining. We also provide entertainment options such as a pool table, table tennis table, and board games. Additionally, our courtyard can accommodate up to four vehicles.
There are numerous attractions to explore in the area, including the castles of Compiègne and Pierrefonds (which is the filming location for the BBC series "MERLIN"). Nearby, you'll find the Armistice museum, the Vic dungeon, and several memorial sites and museums dedicated to the First World War. The town of Soissons, with its magnificent cathedral, is just a 20-minute drive away.
For nature enthusiasts, the Compiègne forest offers over 14,400 hectares of breathtaking beauty, perfect for hiking, cycling, or horseback riding. There are also several fishing lakes nearby, with two located less than a mile away in Attichy. Fishing competitions take place throughout the year, and daily permits can be obtained through the property owners. Additionally, the area boasts several 12th-century churches, including one in Bitry.
Moreover, our property is conveniently located just a 50-minute drive from popular destinations such as Eurodisney, Parc Asterix, and both Charles de Gaulle and Beauvais airports.
