Welcome to our self-catering gite in Pleudihen-sur-Rance, Côtes dArmor, Brittany. This charming holiday home used to be a barn but was fully renovated in 2004 to provide a modern and attractive interior. Situated in a peaceful location, it is opposite our own home.The gite features a comfortable living room with a 2-seater sofa, hi-fi system, and a kitchen area equipped with a microwave, 4-ring hob, and a mini oven. There is also a shower room with a washing machine. The large bedroom on the first floor boasts a king-size bed, a sitting area with a TV, sofa, and easy chairs. Additional stairs lead to the second-floor mezzanine, which has two single beds. We can provide a travel cot, high chair, pushchair, as well as toys and games upon request. Electric heating is available throughout the property.
Outside, you will find a lovely garden with views of the hamlet and valley. There is also a larger enclosed garden that is shared with our family. This garden includes a lawn, patio, furniture, and a barbecue. We also have bicycles available for two adults, one child, and a toddler bike.
Our gite is conveniently located just a short drive away from Dinan and St Malo. There are plenty of amenities within cycling distance, including a boulangerie for fresh croissants, a local beach for swimming (only a 10-minute bike ride along a country road to the estuary beach), and village restaurants offering French and British cuisine. The beautiful Rance estuary is also nearby, with well-marked footpaths for leisurely walks.
In Pleudihen, which is 2 kilometers away, you will find shops and a Tuesday market. The Rance estuary beach is 4 kilometers away, and the seaside beach in St Malo is 19 kilometers away. There are many other places to visit in the local area, including the delightful medieval town of Dinan.
