Nestled in the picturesque Dordogne Valley, just a short distance from Sarlat and the enchanting villages of Domme, La Roque Gageac, and Beynac, lies the peaceful village of Montfort.

Conveniently situated only 200 yards from Montfort castle and nestled against the rolling hills, our country house exudes charm and character.

Our guest rooms, recently renovated and located on the upper floors, offer a breathtaking view of our walnut grove and the sprawling countryside beyond.

We provide four non-smoking guest rooms, three of which feature spacious European king-sized beds (160x200 cm), and one room appointed with comfortable double singles beds (90x200 cm). Each room boasts a meticulously designed en-suite shower-room, ensuring your utmost comfort during your stay. Additionally, two of our rooms are equipped with air conditioning for your convenience.

Start your day off right with a delicious breakfast served in our elegant wood-paneled dining room or on the inviting terrace. Take advantage of our tranquil garden and sun-drenched terrace, perfect for unwinding and relaxation. Directions

Airports in the area include Bergerac, Perigueux, Brive-Vallée de la Dordogne, Limoges, Bordeaux, and Toulouse. Train stations are available in Souillac and Sarlat. To reach Souillac by car, take the direction towards Sarlat and then follow the D703 towards "Vallée de la Dordogne". Once in Carsac, head towards the Village de Montfort and take the first right.

If starting from Bergerac, drive towards Sarlat through the Dordogne Valley, then continue towards Beynac and La Roque Gageac. Pass through the village and continue straight. Take a left turn towards Vitrac and at Vitrac Port, turn right towards Montfort. Follow the dead end to the left of Castle Montfort.

From Sarlat, follow the directions towards Cahors. At the traffic circle "sechoir a tabac-Leclerc", go towards Montfort. Once in the village of Montfort, take the first street on the right.
