La Pierre Plantée is situated in the breathtaking Dordogne Valley, nestled between the picturesque towns of Souillac and Martel. This tranquil location is perfect for those seeking peace and serenity, as it is tucked away by a peaceful walking lane.Our accommodations can comfortably host up to four guests, with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom available. Each room is equipped with central heating to ensure a cozy stay during the winter months. For our guests' convenience, there is a shower room and toilet available. Additionally, a dining area is provided, along with complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the property.
Outside, a spacious garden awaits, complete with a generous terrace area perfect for relaxation and leisurely picnics. Guests are welcome to utilize the outdoor fridge for their convenience. During the summer months, breakfast is served on the terrace, offering a delightful experience surrounded by nature's beauty. To get to the destination from Souillac A20 exit, follow these directions:
1. Take the D803(D703) road towards Martel for approximately 4.5km (2.7 miles).
2. Look for the second turning to Le Pigeon Haut and make a left turn. There will be signs for La Pierre Plantée and Le Saulou. On the corner, you will see an old white citerne tank.
To get to the destination from Martel, follow these directions:
1. Take the D803(D703) road towards Souillac for approximately 7km (4.2 miles).
2. Opposite the turning to Le Pigeon Haut, make a right turn. There will be signs for La Pierre Plantée and Le Saulou. On the corner, you will see an old white citerne tank.
To reach the house from the main road:
1. The house is about 2.5km (1.5 miles) away. Proceed past the turning to Le Saulou garden nursery and continue for approximately 1.5km (1 mile) around a few bends.
2. At the crossroads with a sign for Bazalgues, go straight across and around a small bend until you reach the first turning on your left.
3. Turn left at the sign for La Pierre Plantée and keep left at the next fork in the road.
4. Continue for a short distance until the road ends and a track begins.
5. Take the left track, following the signs for La Pierre Plantée, until you reach the house at the end.
