This charming cottage is located in a peaceful forest setting directly on Lake Nissången, just 15 km from the center of Malung in Dalarna. It is conveniently situated 350 km from Stockholm, 420 km from Göteborg, and 710 km from Malmö.

The cottage offers a picturesque spot for relaxation, with the lake accessible for swimming right from the property. There is also a nearby sandy beach that is perfect for young children.

The cottage features a spacious sun deck facing south and west, providing a stunning 180-degree view of the lake. This allows for easy supervision of any children swimming in the lake.

Please note that this cottage is beautifully primitive and does not have electricity. Lighting is provided by candles and oil lamps, and drinking water is collected from a well on the lot.

The living room boasts a cozy fireplace, and the dining table is strategically placed by a large set of windows, offering breathtaking views of the lake. In the back of the room, there is a double bed for two people.

The main bedroom is furnished with two bunk beds of the traditional Dalecarlian style, accommodating a total of four people. Additional twin beds are available in a small bedroom in the boathouse building.

The kitchen, although lacking running water, is equipped with a wood stove, LPG stove and oven, and an LPG fridge.

A log house located directly on the beach features a wood-fired sauna, a simple shower (camping style), and a relaxation room with incredible lake views. It also offers a two-level sun deck and a connecting pier into the lake.

The boathouse contains a woodshed, a rowboat, and two bicycles. Safety vests in adult and children sizes are also available. There is a separate privy with a lake view.

For fishing enthusiasts, the lake offers excellent opportunities to catch perch and pike.

The rental rates vary depending on the season. During mid- and high season (late June, July, August), the minimum rental period is two weeks, with a changeover day on Saturdays.

The weekly rates include firewood, LPG gas, a rowboat, and two standard bicycles. In addition to the rental price, there are optional additional services available such as final cleaning and bed linen and towel rentals.
