At A Funtana, we provide a variety of affordable accommodation options to suit your needs. You have the flexibility to rent our stopover gîte for a night or a week, with the choice of half board or breakfast only. Alternatively, our guest rooms can be booked individually or as a group of three, allowing you to enjoy the entire apartment and its amenities.

Regardless of your choice, you will have complimentary access to our wellness area (featuring a spa, hammam, and sauna) and the heated swimming pool for one hour, offering a perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking. Additionally, our restaurant-pizzeria and table d'hôtes provide an excellent dining option, saving you the hassle of preparing an evening meal.

Description for Gite

A Funtana offers three affordable lodgings for those seeking overnight accommodation, particularly hikers. Our lodgings are available seven days a week until October 31st, with a reopening on March 15th, 2023.

Each room can comfortably accommodate up to five people, featuring individual bunk beds and private sanitary facilities including a shower, washbasin, and toilet. You can enjoy the privacy of your own space while still benefiting from a clean and communal living environment.

To ensure your comfort, we provide blankets and even a sleeping bag if needed. Additionally, we offer a hearty, all-you-can-eat breakfast that includes coffee, tea, chocolate, milk, bread, butter, homemade jams, cereals, toast, and traditional Corsican cakes.

Directions

To reach the gite from Ajaccio, follow these road directions:

1. Take the RN 196 road towards Bonifacio for a distance of 25km.
2. Continue on RN 196 until you reach Piscatello.
3. At Piscatello, turn onto D 302, which is still part of RN 196.
4. Keep driving on RN 196 until you reach Pila Canale.
5. In Pila Canale, continue for another 14km until you reach Bisinao.
6. Once you enter the hamlet of Bisinao, drive for 700m.
7. You have now arrived at the gite, which is located above the fountain.
