Our comfortable and tranquil house is ideally located near a multitude of activities, such as hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, and leisurely strolls. The Fontainebleau forest, with its ancient sandstone blocks and enchanting scenery, is a truly magical place to explore throughout the year.

Not only is our house the perfect gateway to the forest, it also offers easy access to cultural attractions. Visit the renowned Fontainebleau Castle, the famous village of Barbizon that inspired many painters, and the Chapel of Simple, where Jean Cocteau once resided. Discover the charming fifteenth-century village of Milly la Forêt and take a leisurely walk through its historic hall. Just a short distance away, you'll find the fortified village of Moret sur Loing, with its pedestrian main street, and the delightful port town of Samois sur Seine, where Victor Hugo and many other writers and artists once found inspiration. It's also worth mentioning that Django Reinhardt lived and is buried in Samois sur Seine.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the house is conveniently close to Gorge Franchard and the remnants of a twelfth-century chapel. There are several nearby riding schools, as well as opportunities for tennis and golf.
