Located in the heart of the charming village of Nanteuil-en-Vallée (Petite Cité de Caractère) in the Charente region, Villa Taillefer is a spacious and private residence with a lovely walled garden that borders the Canal des Moines and the river Argentor.

Gareth and Lesley, the welcoming hosts and owners of the house, have tastefully decorated the interior, using vibrant colors and thoughtful design to create a cozy and soothing atmosphere. They have also preserved the house's rich history, blending it seamlessly with modern comforts to ensure a delightful stay for their guests.

Guests can choose from three uniquely designed and en-suite bedrooms, with the Victor Hugo suite boasting its own charming salon. The garden offers several comfortable seating areas, allowing visitors to find a sunny or shaded spot to enjoy a good book or simply unwind. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the spacious terrace or in the dining room, and upon prior arrangement, table d'hotes is available on Sunday evenings. Additionally, there are two popular village restaurants located just steps away.

For those traveling with well-behaved and cat-friendly dogs, the ground floor bedroom is open to their furry companions. Isla, the friendly Cocker Spaniel of the house, will be more than happy to welcome them. The hosts are fluent in both English and French, ensuring a seamless communication experience for all guests.
