This unique dwelling embodies a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. The traditional aspect is evident in the ocher stone walls, exposed wooden beams, and the arched window in the common room, all of which reflect a history spanning over 500 years. On the other hand, the house also embraces modernity with its well-equipped living room. This space includes a kitchen area with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, four induction hotplates, and a combined grill-microwave oven. The dining area features a table and four chairs made of Altuglas, while the living area offers a two-seater sofa, ottoman, nesting tables, and an adjustable flat-screen TV. Additionally, there is a cozy bedroom furnished with a double four-poster bed measuring 140 x 190 cm. The house also boasts a spacious bathroom complete with a sink, shower cabin, and toilet.

Welcome to our appart-house JACQUOU, nestled in the heart of the enchanting medieval village of Beynac and Cazenac, renowned as the 7th most beautiful village in France.

Our charming accommodation spans across 40 m² and comprises of two cozy rooms and a spacious bathroom. As you enter, you will be captivated by the majestic sight of the castle perched atop a magnificent limestone cliff, standing tall at over 150 meters. This impressive fortress takes you back to the 12th century, evoking the era of the valiant barons of Beynac.

Access to Jacquou can be reached through the historic paved path leading to the castle, adding to the allure of your stay. In fact, the walls of our house were once an integral part of the medieval ramparts, and you will even find one of the openings that served as a defense mechanism.

While the house has a rich history spanning over 500 years, it has been thoughtfully renovated in autumn 2012 to seamlessly blend tradition with modern comforts. Step inside to discover the timeless charm of the ochre stone walls, exposed wooden beams, and the distinctive pointed window in the common room.

Adding a touch of modernity, our accommodation features a stylish living area. The well-equipped KITCHEN boasts a refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, induction cooking with four plates, a combined oven grill-microwave, while the DINING ROOM offers a table and four chairs made of Altuglas. Unwind in the comfortable LIVING AREA furnished with a two-seater sofa, pouf, and nesting tables, all facing a flat screen TV.

The bedroom offers a peaceful retreat with a comfortable double bed measuring 140 x 190 cm, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The large bathroom is a haven of relaxation, complete with a sink, shower cabin equipped with spa features, and a toilet.
