Description:

Description for B&B:

Welcome to Chambres et Table d'Hôtes "Domaine Le Chec", where we invite you to experience the charm and character of our three high-quality guest rooms. Situated on the border of the Gers and the Hautes-Pyrénées, and conveniently located near the towns of Trie-sur-Baïse and Castelnau Magnoac, our old farmhouse, built in the early twentieth century, exudes warmth and hospitality.

Inside the house, you'll find a spacious sitting room adorned with oak beams, a wooden floor, and an inviting open fire. Our cozy "salle à manger" provides the perfect setting for meals. In the summer, the house remains cool, while in the winter, it offers a snug retreat. Upstairs, you'll discover three tastefully decorated and generously sized bedrooms. Each double room boasts a luxurious ensuite bathroom, showcasing a unique style and size.

Start your day with a delightful breakfast served in our dining room or, during warmer months, on the terrace or in the covered summer kitchen. We happily welcome dogs, and free wifi is available for your convenience. Our expansive 2.5-acre garden offers breathtaking views of the Gers valleys and the Pyrenees mountains.

Chambres et Table d'Hôtes "Domaine Le Chec" is ideally located, with the Mediterranean's golden, sun-drenched beaches just a two and a half hour drive away. The Atlantic coast, with its renowned resorts like Biarritz and St. Jean-de-Luz, is only two hours away. If you're seeking adventure, the Spanish border and the Pyrenees mountains, with their ski resorts, are less than an hour away. Explore the region on foot, by bike, or by car, or try exhilarating activities such as paragliding. The possibilities are endless.

Of course, we cannot overlook the gastronomical delights of the region. The Gers is famous for its duck, foie gras, and porc noir, and the Madiran vineyards produce exceptional wines. We are delighted to share the culinary treasures of our region with our guests. Each evening, we invite you to our guest table, where we serve a four-course dinner featuring fresh and seasonal products from the area, accompanied by our carefully selected local wines.

We eagerly await the opportunity to meet you and provide you with a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Warm regards,
Ron & Jo Rooding
