Le Petit Gîte is an ideal retreat for a couple seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway or a family with young children looking for a convenient base for exploration. While preserving its historical charm, this gîte offers all the comforts of modern living, including a newly fitted kitchenette and a luxurious walk-in shower room with a bath. The interior is beautifully furnished with a combination of exquisite French antiques and stylish contemporary pieces, in line with the overall aesthetic of the Manoir. The living room opens onto a small, secluded private terrace with a table and chairs, which then leads to the main gardens of the Manoir.

The Main Gite, located across the courtyard and gardens from the Manoir, is a delightful self-contained house. It provides luxurious self-catering accommodation for 6-8 adults, boasting three spacious double bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom. In addition, there is a sofa bed in the sitting room that can accommodate two more adults. Guests with children will find additional single beds, a travel cot, and a high chair available upon request. Carefully renovated to retain its historical charm, the Main Gite features original oak beams and stonework. The bedrooms are adorned with beautiful French antique beds, mirrors, and chandeliers, while offering all the modern comforts. Inutile que le soleil soit toujours au rendez vous dans cet endroit chaleureux, aussi bien dans l'accueil de ses hôtes que celui des murs et de la décoration cocooning dans lequel on est invité à séjourner!
Il est " Tout à fait nécessaire" de s'y poser" ;)

Directions

To get to the Manoir from the A10, exit at Tours and follow the signs to Loches. When you reach Loches, go around the roundabout at the Renault garage and take the third exit towards Valencay. Continue following the signs to Valencay and then Ecueille. Once you reach Ecueille, follow the signs to Lucay le Male / Valencay.

After driving for about 3km and crossing a level crossing, you will arrive at Foulquetiére. Look out for 3 flag poles on your left at the campsite/ etang du Foulquetiére. Turn right and follow the driveway to reach the Manoir.
