This 18th century Normandy farmhouse has been beautifully restored and offers a picturesque setting for guests. There are three guest rooms available, including two double rooms and one twin room, all with private bathrooms. The maximum capacity is 6 guests.

Guests staying at the farmhouse have access to various amenities, including a sitting room/library, terraces, and gardens. The gardens are equipped with tables and chairs, and there is even a small lake nearby.

Located in the village of Ancinnes, our house is nestled close to the Forest of Perseigne. This provides guests with a wonderful opportunity to explore the area by car, on foot, or by bike. Major shopping centers are only 10 minutes away, and there are excellent restaurants nearby in Neufchatel en Saosnois and Alençon, which are 6-8km away.

Situated on the border of Normandy and the Sarthe (Pays de Loire), we are conveniently located. Alençon and the A28 are just 10 minutes away, Le Mans is 30 minutes to the north, and Rouen is 1 hour to the south.

Alençon is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding areas. It is on the border of Lower Normandy and the Sarthe and offers easy access to attractions such as the Alpes Mancelles, the Orne, Pays d'Auge, Saösnois, Marollais, Perche park, and Pays de la Loire.

There are plenty of gardens and sights to visit in the area, including the Château de Carrouges, Alpes Mancelles, Le Mans (medieval City Plantagenet), 24 Hours Race Car Museum, Ballon gardens and castle, Château de Sassy, Lassay les Châteaux, Château Ô and Médavy, Vendeuvre Château, Logis du Moullins, St Céneri-le-Gérei, Sées Cathedral, Camembert, Domfront, Haras du Pin stud farm, Manoir de Couesme, and Saulges Caves.

Very reasonable rates, beautiful house and garden. Rooms are spacious and very, very clean. Great shower. Our hosts Jude and Phil provide a continental breakfast. Free parking. All you can hear in the garden are birds and frogs. Beautiful! Highly recommended.

To reach Ancinnes, you can start from either Alençon town or the A28 Exit 19. If starting from Alençon town, follow the signs to St Paterne or Champfleur, and then take the D19 road towards Ancinnes. The journey should take approximately 5-10 minutes, covering a distance of 8km.
