Our cottage is situated in the heart of Beaujolais, within a charming old winegrowers house that has been tastefully renovated to retain its character. The cottage features exposed stone, intricate moldings, and period beams, creating a unique and authentic atmosphere.Completely independent from the owners' house, the cottage offers privacy and tranquility. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a small private terrace accessible via a staircase. Inside, a bright and inviting living room awaits, decorated in soft shades and furnished with comfortable armchairs and a sofa bed. A dining table is also provided for your convenience.
Adjacent to the living room, you will find a fully equipped kitchenette complete with a dishwasher, 4-burner induction hob, and all the necessary crockery. Additional kitchen appliances, such as raclette and fondue devices, as well as a pressure cooker, can be borrowed upon request.
The cottage also features a shower room with a walk-in stone shower and a heated towel rail. Towels are provided for your convenience. On the same level, there is a spacious 20 m² bedroom with bohemian-inspired decor, a comfortable 160 bed, and high-quality bedding. A cupboard, reading corner, and office space are also available, providing a peaceful environment for work or relaxation.
Upstairs, you will find another 20 m² bedroom with warm and inviting decor, a wardrobe, and a TV. The beds will be made upon your arrival, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay. A cot can also be provided upon request.
As you explore the surroundings, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the vineyards and a park filled with beautiful and fragrant trees and flowers. The park spans an impressive 5000m², offering a bucolic and revitalizing setting, complete with century-old trees.
Conveniently located just 8 minutes from the A6 motorway, our cottage is ideal for both family getaways and business trips. In the village, you will find various shops, a restaurant offering take-away meals, and a medical center, ensuring all your needs are met.
The location is perfect for exploring the Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées in the south and the Beaujolais Vert in the north. Nearby activities include cycling, hiking trails, wine tourism, tree climbing, tennis, and horse riding.
Villefranche-sur-Saône is only a 10-minute drive away, while Lyon can be reached in just 30 minutes. Despite being close to the city, our cottage offers a peaceful countryside experience.
Please note that a car is recommended for getting around, and we are located just 8 minutes from the Villefranche Nord exit N°31 on the A6 motorway.
