Description for B&B:

Welcome to our charming bed and breakfast located in a 16th century manor, nestled in the tranquil countryside near Valognes, Cherbourg, and the historic D-day beaches. As you approach, a picturesque poplar alley guides you to our impressive manor and its authentic farm buildings, including a cider-press and old arches.

Our bed and breakfast accommodations are situated on the first and second floors, accessible via an enchanting spiral stone staircase. We offer five exceptionally comfortable rooms, each furnished with queen size beds and even a four-poster bed, with a suite option available for up to 15 guests.

With our central location, you will have easy access to a multitude of fascinating attractions. Discover the wonders of "La cité de la mer" in Cherbourg, embark on a day trip to the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernesey, or immerse yourself in the history of the D-Day beaches and its iconic monuments, such as Utah beach, Omaha beach, and Sainte Mére lEglise.

Steeped in history, our main building dates back to the 16th century, with even older foundations. During the 18th century, significant renovations were undertaken to preserve its grandeur. The setting itself holds a rich history, dating back to the Gallo-Roman period when Savigny was connected to the renowned town of Alauma. The remnants of the ancient Roman causeway of Cosedia can still be found bordering our property.

We look forward to welcoming you to our manor farm, where you can unwind in a peaceful environment and explore the captivating surroundings.
