Description:

Description for B&B:

We offer nightly rate rooms in a private house that operates with the comfort and convenience of a guest house and hostel. The house features 3 rooms in a traditional terrace, along with 2 bathrooms. With its rustic charm and modern amenities, our accommodations are perfect for individuals who are musically/artistically/academically inclined. Located on a quiet road in a lively area, there are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby. Our location provides easy access to the city center, all airports, and Finsbury Park Tube, which is in zone 2. Please note that the rooms are not ensuite, but gowns and towels are provided. One of the rooms has a bathroom next door. Additionally, guests are required to be out of the house between 10am and 5.00pm every day due to insurance regulations. This restriction works in favor of those who want to explore and visit zones 1 and 2.

Directions

To reach my destination, there are several options for transportation. The Victoria and Picadilly lines on the tube connect to the airports, including Stanstead, Gatwick, and Heathrow. Alternatively, I can head to the main station arrivals. Most airports are approximately an hour away, with Stanstead, Luton, and Heathrow being the most direct.

If I am arriving at Stanstead airport, I can take the Liverpool Street train and get off at Seven Sisters or Tottenham Hale tube stations. From there, Finsbury Park is only 1 or 2 stops away. From Heathrow, I can take the Picadilly line, and from Gatwick, I can take the Victoria line. The nearest tube station to my destination is Finsbury Park, which is located in zone 2 and only takes around 20 minutes to reach the city center. From there, I can take the W7 bus, which will take me home in approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Once I reach Finsbury Park, I can go upstairs, turn right, and head to the back of the station to catch the buses. I should wait at the main road for the W7 bus and ask the driver to let me know when we reach Holly Park, which is around 5 to 10 minutes away or 3 to 4 stops. From there, I just need to go back one road, and my destination is halfway down on the left, with a light purple door.

If I prefer to take a minicab, I can call HERCULES at 0207 272 6666, or there is a minicab office near the W7 bus stop. The cost for a minicab to the airports is approximately £40-50, with only a few pounds to reach my destination. This might be a cheaper option compared to taking the trains, especially if there are multiple people traveling together.

For parking, there is currently free parking between 5pm and 9.45am on weekdays. If I need to leave my car between 10am and 2pm without staying overnight, I should request vouchers, which cost £5 per session.

I should also consider looking into the London Pass at londonpass.com, as it offers cheaper travel options and entrance to various sites. Additionally, arranging an Oyster Card in advance could also be beneficial for easier transportation.
