The southwest of France is not your typical holiday destination, it's even better - it's a hidden gem! Located just 1 ½ hours away from the sought-after Mediterranean and Pyrenees, this region is one of the most vibrant in France. It is renowned for its fantastic climate, delicious cuisine, rich history, technological advancements, and the famous "art de vivre" (art of living).Toulouse, the capital of this region, has a lot to offer. It is not only the fastest growing city in France, but also the second most important university city after Paris. In the past, it was even considered the cultural capital of France during the high middle ages when Paris was just a cold, poor, and rainy swampland. The remnants of this cultural bloom can still be seen today in the form of breathtaking buildings and towns from the 12th century.
Today, Toulouse and its surrounding region are known for their remarkable agricultural and technological products and companies. It's a place where you can experience the true essence of France, beyond the typical tourist attractions like the Eiffel Tower, red wine, and St. Tropez.
Our B&B, "La Maison Lutz," is perfectly situated in the heart of the region, between three important cities: Toulouse, Montauban, and Albi. If you head north from our B&B, you'll find yourself surrounded by lush green foothills along the river Tarn, perfect for hiking, cycling, or motorbiking. Explore charming villages, vineyards, and the stunning sunflower fields in July. There are two vineyards, "Fronton" and "Gaillac," just a short distance away.
To the south, we are only 1 km from the river Tarn, where you can enjoy leisurely walks along the river shore, go fishing, swimming, or even try your hand at canoeing. At our B&B, you'll find everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our rooms are spacious, comfortable, and uniquely designed. We have a swimming pool, spa, sauna, fitness facilities, and even a tandem bike that we can lend to you. And of course, we offer a delicious homemade breakfast.

The Lutz house is located at 14 rue de la Croix Blanche, 31340 Bondigoux, approximately 27 km from Toulouse. It can be found at the intersection of D22 and D61, in front of the grocery store-restaurant Otoulousain. The GPS coordinates are Latitude: 43.8359273 and Longitude: 1.542163.
If you are traveling by car from Toulouse or Montauban, you should take exit 11 from the A62. Follow the signs for Cepet / Villemur-sur-Tarn. Once you reach Villemur, cross the suspension bridge and continue following the Tarn river for about 4 km.
Alternatively, if you are coming from Toulouse or Albi on the A68, take exit 4 and then follow the D22 towards Bessieres. Join the road that leads to Villemur-sur-Tarn and cross the bridge over the Tarn. From there, follow the signs for Bondigoux / Layrac on the D22a.
If you prefer to travel by train, you can arrive at the stations in Montauban Villebourbon (82), Toulouse (31), Saint-Sulpice (81), or Montastruc la Advisor (31). There is the option of taking a shuttle for an additional fee.
For those arriving by plane, the nearest airport is Toulouse Blagnac (31). There is also the possibility of taking a shuttle for an extra cost.
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take the Bus Arc-en-Ciel on the Toulouse line 55, which goes to Villemur.
