Travel Directions:

By air, you can fly into either Tarbes - Ossun - Lourdes Airport or Pau Airport - Uzein. Another option is to take a train (TGV) from Paris to Toulouse Airport and then continue to Tarbes - Lourdes.

If you prefer to travel by car, please note that the two main entrances to the main shrines in Lourdes are one-way streets that change every 15 days. From the city center, from the 1st to the 15th of the month, you should take Rue de la Grotte. However, from the 16th to the 30th/31st of the month, you should take Boulevard de la Grotte. Make sure to check the direction of flow on the day of your arrival.

If you prefer to take a bus, there are bus shuttles available from the station (Citybus) to the Grotto, Hotel, and Station. The buses run every 15 minutes from Easter to October. The price is 1.20 euros per person for a one-way trip and 2.20 euros for a round trip. The bus operates from 7:00 to 19:00 (until 22:30 in July and August).

For parking options, there are parking areas and private parking lots near the Sanctuary. Some of the paid parking lots include Municipal Parking Peyramale, Municipal Parking Merlasse, and Parking Boissarie. These parking lots are located near the sanctuaries or in the downtown area of Lourdes.
