Laure and Patrice Cochin are delighted to open their doors to you and provide a warm and inviting atmosphere, filled with passion and tradition. Our nineteenth-century guest house boasts a swimming pool and offers five comfortable rooms for a pleasant stay or a short stopover. Situated on the border of three departments and four former provinces, our village in the Dordogne region serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding countryside and engaging in various activities. Enjoy the tranquility and sport fishing opportunities offered by the Dronne river, or take leisurely walks and hikes in the vast Double forest, which includes the picturesque 33-hectare Jemaye pond. In nearby Charente, renowned for Cognac and Pineau, you will fall in love with Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Further south, discover the legendary city of St Emilion, known worldwide for its prestigious chateaux. Bordeaux, the beautiful lady of Aquitaine, is also within reach. The Dordogne, with its four rich Perigord regions, will enchant you with its diverse architectural and natural heritage, including country houses, medieval towns, and countless magnificent castles. Indulge in the delicious dishes prepared with the abundant local produce, such as foie gras, confit, duck breast, mushrooms, truffles, cabécou cheese, nuts, and strawberries. Bergerac, with its 13,000 hectares of vineyards, is just an hour away, while Périgeux, Brantome, Nontron (White Périgord), and Sarlat (Perigord Noir) are also waiting to be explored. Excellent accueil, très belle chambre... déjà parfait. En plus, proposition d'un repas le soir, de même teneur ! une adresse à conserver, pour y revenir le plus tôt possible .
