2. Les Poutres: This character-filled bedroom is equipped with a double bed and an additional single bed if needed. The room boasts many beams and offers a view of the side of the house. It also includes an en-suite shower room with a WC and views of the front area, the river, and the 12th Century Abbey Chapel of Sainte Croix.

3. La Voliere: This spacious bedroom features a double bed and an additional single bed if required. The room includes an en-suite shower room with a WC. Guests can enjoy the many beams in the room and the view of the river, Ville Haute, and the medieval Chateau.

Excellent souvenir de mon passage à "Sainte-Croix" avec 4 amis randonneurs. Très chaleureux accueil de Nicole & John passionnés de leur village d'adoption (et d'origine pour Nicole) Angles sur Anglin.
Très bonne qualité d'hébergement avec un plus pour la piscine mise à disposition et le charmant petit-déjeuner pris sur la terrasse avant de continuer notre chemin ..

Angles-sur-LAnglin is located in Central France, approximately halfway between La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast (about 150 kms inland) and Poitiers (about 45 kms North-East). Tours is about 100 kms North-West. To reach Angles-sur-LAnglin, take exit 26 at Chatellerault-Nord on the A10 Autoroute, which is about 30 kms to the west. If you are coming from the east, take exit 15 north of Argenton-sur-Creuse on the A20 Autoroute, which is about 60 kms to the east.

For those traveling by air, the nearest international airport is Poitiers Biard in Poitiers, with daily flights from London Stansted by Ryanair. Poitiers also offers daily connections to the Air France regional hub in Lyon, providing onward worldwide connections via Paris. Tours Val de Loire International Airport in Tours also has daily flights from London Stansted with Ryanair.

If you prefer traveling by train, Poitiers is on the main TGV train line Paris-Bordeaux. There are direct connections from the London Eurostar at Lille, allowing you to reach Poitiers on a daily basis. The Lille TGV also stops at Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport, providing convenient onward connections to regional UK and other international destinations. While Poitiers is closer to Angles-sur-LAnglin, Chatellerault railway station is an alternative option, although it has fewer stopping trains.

For those driving, when approaching Angles-sur-LAnglin, you will find Sainte Croix near the river in the Ville Basse. It is immediately to the right after crossing the bridge from the village centre. The accommodations are located opposite the Abbey Church of Sainte Croix.
