Description:

Description for B&B:

I am a historic home with a rich past of 270 years, recently renovated in 2016/17 to provide all the necessary comforts. Situated amidst lush green surroundings, I offer a peaceful haven where your children and pets can play freely without any concerns about grumpy neighbors or nearby roads. Despite the tranquility, I am not isolated from the center of this small village, which is home to 500 residents. You will find a bakery/pastry shop, a small grocery store, and a café-restaurant within easy reach. For additional shopping options, Corlay is just 4.5 kilometers away, or you can visit the larger supermarkets in Rostrenen and Pontivy. The beautiful bay of Saint-Brieuc and its beach are also only 40 minutes away.

Inside the house, the ground floor features a spacious living room and lounge area measuring 50 square meters. This area includes a sofa bed and an American kitchen equipped with all the necessary amenities. There is also a salamander fireplace, providing warmth during chilly evenings (wood is provided). Additionally, there is a bathroom/laundry room and a toilet on the ground floor.

Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a 160x200 bed and a child bed measuring 70x145. The second bedroom offers a 140x190 bed and a 90x190 bed, as well as an alcove with a single bed. There is a shower and toilet on this floor as well. The entire house was completely renovated in 2016 and provides all the necessary comforts for a wonderful vacation. You can even enjoy listening to vinyl records on the stereo system. For outdoor cooking, there is a barbecue/rotisserie available, which is not only delicious but also healthy.

Please note that this house utilizes a septic tank system, which is common in rural areas. It is important to take precautions and avoid using any chemicals (such as bleach) that could harm the flora. Only use products that are compatible with septic tanks and do not throw anything in the toilet (cleaning products will be provided).

To ensure the safety of your children, the staircase is secured both at the top and bottom. Additionally, there are recreational activities available such as badminton, table football, and a swing in the garden.

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a charming young woman who can assist with the check-in process and cleaning tasks if you prefer not to handle them yourself (hourly rate of 15 euros). Your full deposit will be returned to you upon departure if everything is in order.
