This prime location allows easy access to the town's charming bars and restaurants, which are either right on our doorstep or just a short, picturesque walk away. Guests can leave their car parked and fully immerse themselves in the friendly ambiance of the town without worrying about taxi journeys.

For added safety, every bedroom and living room window is equipped with a garde corps, a traditional and attractive French balcony guard.

Additionally, boat hire is available here during high season for those who wish to explore the river further.

A short walk up the river will lead you to Confolens' own open-air swimming pool, offering water flumes and stunning countryside views. This is a fantastic way to enjoy the glorious summer in the Charente region, which boasts second only to the Cote d'Azur for sunshine hours and temperatures. Confolens is approximately a 40-minute drive from Limoges airport, which is served by Ryanair with flights from several UK airports. Once on the roads, despite driving on the opposite side to the UK, you will find them relaxing to travel on with less traffic and population.
