Casa Migliaca is situated near the northern coast of Sicily, just a short distance from Cefalù, nestled between the Nebrodi Mountains and Madonie Mountains. Positioned on a hill overlooking the eastern side of the Tusa River valley, this charming house offers breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the lush Nebrodi woods. Dating back to the 17th century, Casa Migliaca was originally an oil mill, but was later transformed into a comfortable accommodation in the early 1990s. Today, it provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for its guests. The lifestyle at Casa Migliaca is relaxed and informal, with communal dinners enjoyed around the grand round table, once used for pressing olives. Breakfast is served at leisure in the historic kitchen on the first floor, allowing guests to help themselves. The house offers eight spacious rooms, each with its own unique charm. The rooms on the first floor are furnished with antique pieces, while those on the ground level retain the original features of the former oil mill. The preserved silted jar, small palmento, and chestnut mezzanine serve as reminders of its past functions. While the bathrooms are small, they are designed to be practical, preserving the original architecture and proportions of the building. Surrounding the main house is a thriving 12-hectare farm, producing olive oil and citrus fruits.
