Other notable sights include the mysterious Païolive wood, the Chauvet cave exhibition, and the splendors of Orgnac. The Ardeche offers a multitude of fun activities for nature lovers, such as caving, canoeing, hiking, tree climbing, and more. The area is characterized by its authenticity, beauty, and diverse landscapes of mountains, valleys, gorges, lakes, and rivers. Many picturesque villages offer hidden wonders with their pink sandstone houses covered in slate, as well as opportunities for refreshing swims in the rivers. Golf, the sea, and thalassotherapy options are also available within a reasonable distance. The village where the accommodation is located is situated 8 kilometers from Joyeuse, on the ridge road, at an elevation of 500 meters above sea level. The village features historical landmarks such as Castle Valoubières and the remains of the Abbey of Chabroulières. The accommodation itself boasts a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a spacious living room, a cozy fireplace, comfortable leather seating, and a tiled terrace with breathtaking views.
