Welcome to our charming old country house, built in 1750 just before the Revolution. Paula and Mike are excited to have you as their guests.

Nestled in peaceful countryside with breathtaking views, this house has been in our family since the 20th century. It is spacious, tranquil, and comfortable.

The gardens surrounding the house are beautiful, boasting a touch of wilderness with many unique trees. There is ample parking and garaging available.

Start your day with a delightful continental breakfast served in a charming salon adorned with rustic beams and French doors that lead out to the gardens. For those who wish, a four-course evening meal can be arranged with advance notice.

Our location is conveniently situated near the borders of Dordogne and Lot, just thirty minutes from Brive la Gaillarde and an hour from Limoges. Easy access to the A20 and A89 autoroutes make us a convenient stop for travelers heading further south. Additionally, our location serves as a great base for exploring the picturesque Correze, Lot, and Dordogne regions.

Please note that our house is not suitable for babies or young children.

As our guest, you will have access to a spacious and elegant salon on the ground floor, facing south with French windows that open up to the gardens.

Conveniently located only a six-hour drive south of Calais, Le Chateau is an ideal destination for a self-catering holiday. Situated just 30 minutes away from the town of Brive la Gaillarde, known as the gateway to the South of France, Le Chateau serves as an excellent base for exploring the Correze, Lot, and Dordogne regions.
