Description:

Description for B&B:

Welcome to OLD MAS - 2130 Route Palunettes - 13690 Graveson, where you can experience the charm of Provence, surrounded by nature and tranquility. Our guest rooms offer a unique opportunity to stay in a 13th-century monastery that was once home to Celestine monks who produced wine for the Avignon popes.

If you appreciate history and old architecture, you will be delighted to sleep within the ancient walls that have stood for 700 years. We take pride in preserving the natural environment and wildlife by manually removing grass instead of using chemicals.

Our commitment to sustainability extends to our linens, which are made from soft cotton satin and dried under the Provence sun, avoiding the use of harsh cleaning chemicals. Our restoration of this beautiful house has focused on noble materials like stone, iron, and wood, ensuring your comfort while maintaining its historical integrity.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast prepared by our daughter, Maéva. She uses high-quality ingredients, including eggs from our own chickens and organic honey, to create a variety of pastries such as pancakes, waffles, financiers, and madeleines with lemon. You can also enjoy homemade yogurt made with organic milk, freshly baked croissants, bread, and freshly squeezed orange juice.

Our location is perfect for exploring the beauty and heritage of Provence. We are just 6km from Avignon, where you can visit the Palace of the Popes and the famous bridge Benezet. The village of St Rémy de Provence, known internationally, is only 8km away. Les Baux de Provence, with its stunning lights careers, is also nearby and considered one of the most beautiful villages in France. Other attractions within easy reach include Tarascon and its castle, the Roman city of Arles with the Arlaten museum, the Fountain of Vaucluse, Isle sur la Sorgue, and the Pont du Gard.
