Appréciations pour Maison de L'Oiseau, Josselin:

Very Nice B&B
Review by: Ray Kelly, Sep 24 2016 1:05PM
We stayed at Maison de l'Oiseau for 2 nights. The rooms were nice and clean, the bed comfortable, good shower and a good selection for the continental breakfast. In addition our room had a fridge and some nice French period features. The location is perfect and Ann and Brian are really friendly and helpful.

Review by: FAHY Monique, Sep 29 2012 11:52PM

Directions

Travel Directions to The Bird House:

To reach The Bird House, follow these directions:

1. If you are coming from the East or the South, make your way towards Ploermel and take the RN24 highway in the direction of Lorient. After approximately 10km, keep an eye out for the Josselin est junction.

2. Take the exit at the Josselin est junction and continue towards the Centre de Ville (city center). As you descend down the hill, you will notice that the old town begins, with narrow streets and houses situated very close to the roadside.

3. Continue driving through the town, passing shops on both sides of the road. As you go downhill, you will spot a bakery on your right and across from it, a restaurant called La Sarazine. At this point, make a sharp left turn onto the canal road.

4. As you proceed, you will soon catch sight of the Chateau. Take your time to slow down and appreciate the view. On the right side, you will see a bridge over the canal, and on the bank, there is a large hotel called Le Hotel du Chateau.

5. Instead of turning into the hotel car park, turn right immediately before it. Drive past the hotel for about 100m, and on your right, you will find black gates. These gates mark the entrance to Maison Oiseau, also known as The Bird House.

Enjoy your visit to The Bird House!
