The house is situated in the picturesque village of Godewaersvelde, which is recognized as a heritage-listed village in the heart of the Monts de Flandres. It is conveniently located just a few kilometers from the Belgian border, making it easily accessible. The village is a 30-minute drive from Lille and the Opal Coast, and only 10 km away from Poperinge.

This charming old house, dating back to 1870, offers a delightful setting for both business and leisure stays in the region. On the first floor, there are three spacious and comfortable boutique guest rooms, which are owned by the house owners.

The Sweet Duplex room, measuring 35m2, features a living room with a sofa bed (140/200), a double bed (160/200), a bathroom with a shower (120/90) and a basin, as well as a separate toilet.

The Garden of Dreams room, approximately 25m2 in size, includes a double bed (160/200), a futon sofa, a bathroom with a corner bath and a basin, and a separate toilet. Both rooms also have a flat-screen TV.

The third bedroom, measuring 25m2, is equipped with a double bed, a private shower room, and a separate toilet.

On the ground floor, there is a living room with a selection of books and brochures for guests to enjoy, as well as a veranda with board games. Meals can be arranged upon reservation.

The house boasts a lovely enclosed garden spanning 1900 m², providing a peaceful outdoor space. There is also a secure storage area for bicycles and a garden lounge for guests to relax in.

The location is ideal for exploring the nearby attractions, with Belgium just 7 km away, Cassel at 15 km, and Ypres at 22 km (home to the Flanders Fields museum and the Last Post ceremony). Other notable destinations within driving distance include Bray-Dunes (38 km), Lille and Saint-Omer (both 40 km away), Malo-les-Bains (46 km), and the Louvre-Lens (58 km).

Travel Directions:

If you are coming from Dunkerque, follow the A25 / E42 and take Exit 13 for Steenvoorde / Poperinge. Follow the signs for Poperinge. At the first roundabout, take the last exit by going around the roundabout. At the second roundabout, continue straight. At the third roundabout, take the first right towards Godewaersvelde. Continue for about 3 km until you reach the village center. The house will be approximately 500 meters after the entrance sign, on your right. Look for the France Bed panel affixed to the fence of the house to guide you.

If you are coming from Lille on the A25 / E42, take exit 12 for Bailleul center / Méteren. Turn right and enter Méteren. Then, take the first left onto Rue des 4 son Aymon (direction Godewaersvelde). Continue for approximately 7 km, passing through Mont des Cats, until you reach Godewaersvelde. At the village entrance, go straight until you reach a stop sign. Go straight again and the house will be on your left. Look for the France Bed panel affixed to the fence of the house for guidance.

If you are coming from Bailleul, take the direction of Méteren. In Méteren, turn right onto Rue des 4 Aymon son (direction Godewaersvelde). Continue for approximately 7 km, passing through Mont des Cats, until you reach Godewaersvelde. At the village entrance, go straight until you reach a stop sign. Go straight again and the house will be on your left. Look for the France Bed panel affixed to the fence of the house for guidance.
