Nearby, you'll find famous attractions such as the Hospices de Beaune, Meursault, Volnay, Pommard, Rully, Santenay, Mercurey, Givry, Buxy, Chardonnay, Lugny, Vire, and Fuissé. We provide a tourist map and recommendations to enhance your experience.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there are plenty of activities to enjoy. Anglers can explore the Saône and Grosne rivers, the Grison, the Seille, and various ponds. If swimming is your preference, the Lakes of Laives, just 8 minutes away from the cottage, offer a beautiful beach, paddle boats, and games. Hikers can choose from 33 trails and explore the Grosne and Saone rivers between the GR 76 and the Paths Moines. For a picturesque experience, the bucolic Greenway is lined with castles, forests, and groves, while the Route Blue along the Saône is reserved for walkers, mountain bikers, and skaters.

Immerse yourself in the region's history and culture by visiting castles, Romanesque churches, abbeys, and small villages with typical Burgundian wash houses, fountains, and water mills. Take a boat tour along the Saone and Seille rivers or explore the local flea markets, small markets of local producers, hostels, farms, and restaurants offering Burgundian specialties. Chalon sur Saone, just a short distance away, offers a wave pool with games, sauna, hammam, bowling, a wildlife and botanical park, and numerous restaurants. Tournus, 8 km from the cottage, is a city of art and history with an abbey, ancient streets, exhibitions, and Michelin-starred restaurants. Cuisery, known as the books village, is home to many bookshops, libraries, and the Eden Biodiversity Centre with its planetarium. Don't miss the great Bresse poultry market in Louhans on Mondays or a visit to Cluny to explore the Abbey National Stud and medieval city.

During your stay, take advantage of the amenities we provide. Enjoy biking with our ready ATVs and explore the small forest roads surrounding the house. We also offer a library with games and tourist documentation for your convenience. If you're a nature lover, feel free to wander through our fruit orchard and enjoy the fresh produce.

The cottage itself offers a spacious and bright living room with a large screen TV, TNT, and WiFi. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, and washing machine. The bathroom features a shower, heated towel rail, and hairdryer, while a separate WC adds convenience. Upstairs, you'll find two comfortable bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a double bed and a single bed. An additional WC and washbasin are also available. If needed, we can provide a cot upon request.

To reach SENNECEY cottage in LE GRAND (located in Saone et Loire), follow these travel directions: It will take approximately 15 minutes by car from CHALON-SUR-SAONE, 8 minutes from Tournus (via motorway exits A6 Chalon Sud and Tournus).
