Jacqueline and John welcome you to their charming half-cave house, located in the tranquil rural area of Dénezé Under Gifted. With its unique design, this house guarantees a refreshing escape from the scorching heat during a heatwave. Recently renovated, it offers modern comfort while maintaining its rustic charm, boasting exposed beams and stonework.Conveniently situated only 6 kilometers away from the renowned Zoo de Doue la Fontaine and a short 15-kilometer drive from Saumur, the horse capital, our house serves as an ideal base for exploring the enchanting castles of the Loire, visiting mushroom cellars, and indulging in the region's exquisite wines.
The limestone house is accessed through a courtyard shared with the owners, providing a sense of privacy and tranquility. The living space spans 70 square meters, including a spacious 32 square meter living area. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with a microwave, allows you to prepare delicious meals during your stay. The living area features a cozy sofa bed (140 cm) and a dining area, perfect for relaxation and enjoying meals together.
The bedroom, measuring 16 square meters, offers a comfortable double bed (140 cm) and an additional single bed (90 cm). The bathroom is well-appointed, and floor heating ensures a pleasant ambiance.
Outside, you can unwind in the shared relaxation garden, where you can enjoy the company of the owners and soak up the tranquility of the surroundings. Additionally, a small adjoining cave adds a unique touch to the experience. For those who enjoy fishing, there is a private pond nearby where you can cast your line and enjoy some quality time in nature.
