Auberge de la Providence is a charming hotel-restaurant located in the Parc Regional des Volcans in the Massive Central, Puy de Dome, Auvergne, France. Situated in a superb area for various outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, parapenting, ATB, and biking, it is also just a short distance from the third largest wintersports area in France, Superbesse/Le Mont Dore.

Owned by Eric and Caroline, a Dutch couple who arrived in March 2010, the hotel has undergone renovations to provide a comfortable and inviting experience for guests. All rooms have been updated with new bathrooms, insulation, decoration, and comfortable furniture. With a total of four rooms, including a family room that can accommodate up to six people, the owners are committed to providing personalized attention to ensure guests feel at home and have an unforgettable holiday.

The hotel's restaurant features a large open fireplace, perfect for warming up after a day on the slopes or exploring the beautiful surrounding nature. Directions

L'Auberge de la Providence is located 450km from Paris, 350km from Bordeaux, 250km from Lyon, 550km from Marseille, and 75km from Clermont Ferrand.

Directions from Paris:
- Take the direction towards Bordeaux - Nantes.
- Follow the signs for Orléans - Clermont Ferrand.
- Continue on the A10. After Orléans, take the A71.
- Before reaching Clermont Ferrand, take the A89 towards Limoges and Bordeaux.
- Take exit 25 towards Le Mont-Dore, Bort les Orgues, La Bourboule.
- Take the third exit at the first roundabout.
- At the end of the road, turn right.
- Take the exit towards La Tour de l'Auvergne (D203).
- In La Tour d'Auvergne, follow the signs towards Picherande (D203).
- Before reaching Picherande, take the exit towards Saint-Donat.

L'Auberge de la Providence is located across from the church, in the former Hôtel de la Providence.

Please note that Saint Donat may not be available in all GPS systems. You can use La Tour d'Auvergne as a landmark and then follow the D203 towards Picherande. After approximately 7 km, turn right towards St Donat.

If coming from the West (A71 Clermont Ferrand), you will find Saint Donat on the D203, 22 km after Besse-en-Chandesse and 5 km after Picherande on the left.
