Description for B&B:

Experience a delightful getaway at "Mas des Sources," nestled in the charming hamlet of Le Fayet within the village of Sanilhac. Conveniently situated between Largentière and Joyeuse, and in close proximity to the Ardèche and Beaume gorges, this idyllic retreat promises a serene and unforgettable stay.

Perched atop the Blajoux valley, this hamlet is enveloped by a tranquil pine forest, offering a picturesque setting for leisurely strolls amidst unspoiled nature. Beginning July 1st, the gracious owners are pleased to offer two enchanting B&B rooms, providing a peaceful and natural ambiance. The spacious suite, as well as the tastefully adorned "patio room" in shades of grey and off-white, effortlessly blend with the surrounding natural elements and carefully selected antiques, including a charming antique chest of drawers discovered in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

The proprietor personally constructed this abode, ensuring its authenticity and preserving its original character, reflected in the thoughtful choice of materials such as traditional roof tiles, sandstone walls, and floors. Bathed in natural light, thanks to expansive sliding glass doors, the rooms are located on the ground floor and boast whitewashed walls, antique furniture with white and grey finishes, and linen curtains sourced from the Brocante in Beaucaire, Provence.

The expansive suite, spanning an impressive 50 square meters, boasts its own private entrance, a natural stone floor, and a ceiling adorned with wooden beams. Sunlight cascades through the large glass doors, leading to an indoor patio and a covered terrace. This room features a queen-size bed, a well-appointed bathroom, and a cozy stove. Revel in the countryside charm and admire the exquisite antiques that adorn this space.

The standard room, encompassing 30 square meters, opens onto an indoor patio through two generous glass doors, exuding a harmonious blend of white, off-white, and grey tones. Equipped with a comfortable double bed and a stylish bathroom with a shower, this room is a haven of tranquility. Bask in the southern sun on the terrace, complete with a refreshing natural spring water pool. Alternatively, find respite under the shade of a fragrant linden tree in the garden or indulge in relaxation by the swimming pool or sauna.

Appréciations pour Le Domaine du Fayet, Sanilhac:

Weekend entre amis Maison Académie
Review by: Axelle, Juin 14 2016 11:31AM
