Directions

Sixt Fer à Cheval, a village situated near the villages of Samoens, Morillon, and Verchaix, is located in the Valley High Giffre in the Alps.

This valley, which lies halfway between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, offers numerous attractions.

To reach Sixt Fer à Cheval, follow these directions:

If coming from Geneva Cointrin Airport or train station:
- Take the A40 motorway towards Annemasse and Cluses.

If coming from Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport or train station:
- Take the A42 motorway towards Annecy.
- From Annecy train station, head towards the A40 motorway.

Once on the A40 motorway towards Chamonix, take the exit towards Morillon and Samoens (Exit Cluses).
- Continue on the main road D4.
- At Samoens, take the main road D907 in the direction of Sixt Fer à Cheval.
- After passing through the plain of Vallon, you will come across a small hamlet called Perret (consisting of three or four houses).
- After a few turns, you will see a small road on the left, in front of a chapel. Take this road towards Mount and continue straight until the end.

As you travel, you will pass through the small village of Balme top and a beautiful forest until you finally reach Mount.
