Description:

Description for B&B:

In the 16th century, the Seigniory of Gerbe was established. In the 18th century, it was expanded by Claude de Guerin de Chermont, who served as an adviser to the king and held the position of President Treasurer of France at Moulins.

By the end of the 18th century, the Seigniory was owned by the influential Lord of Racault, who held the titles of Count of Reuilly, Mestre of camp of dragons, Chevalier of the Order of St-Louis, and Lieutenant of the Guards of Monseigneur the Count d'Artois.

The Orangery, which stretches over 16 meters, is located in the main courtyard and connects the two square towers and the round tower. It provides direct access to the large room and two living rooms. Illuminated by five immense windows, it allows the sun's rays to filter through and bathe the mandarin trees and other citrus fruits from noon until nightfall.

At the end of a 400-meter pathway lined with lime and plane trees, guests are welcomed into the Castle's courtyard, adorned with a basin and a fountain, providing a pleasant area for leisurely walks.
