Description:

Description for B&B:

La Croix du Reh has a rich history dating back to 1620 when it was originally built as an inn in the charming village of Chateauneuf - la Foret in Haute Vienne, Limousin, under the orders of King Henry IV of France. Throughout the years, it has served various purposes, but it has now returned to its original intention of providing shelter to travelers as a charming chambres d'hôtes (bed and breakfast) establishment.

During the summer, dining at our bed and breakfast often takes place in the beautiful garden, and we are pleased to offer evening meals upon request. Regardless of the season, guests are always welcomed with warmth and hospitality in the Salon, where original oak beams and a large open log fireplace create a cozy atmosphere.

Our bed and breakfast in Limousin is a wonderful alternative to self-catering gites or traditional hotels, offering a more personal and intimate experience. As our bed and breakfast is also our home, you can expect the genuine warmth and hospitality of a traditional French bed and breakfast. During the winter months, especially when the ground is covered in snow, the inviting open log fire in the Salon provides a comforting and cozy ambiance.

If you're looking for a carefree Christmas or New Year break, consider spending it at our bed and breakfast. For special offers, please visit our website.

We offer five en-suite bedrooms with varying capacities: the Rose Room can accommodate 2-3 people, the Blue Room is perfect for 1-2 people, the Gold Room can accommodate 2-3 people, the Yellow Family Suite can accommodate 2-5 people, and the Lavender Family Room is also suitable for 2-5 people. We are happy to provide baby cots for each bedroom.

All of our rooms feature en-suite baths and/or showers, clock-radios, and coffee/tea-making facilities. We are open year-round to ensure that our bed and breakfast meets and exceeds all of your expectations for a traditional French holiday accommodation experience.
