Description for Gite

Located in the charming village of Sahorre, apartment Belle Vue offers breathtaking views of the Vallée de la Rotja. With three bedrooms, it can comfortably accommodate up to 9 people, but is equally suitable for couples seeking extra space. This spacious and cozy self-catering gîte serves as an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Conflent region of the Pyrénées Orientales, just 15km southwest of Prades.

Situated on the second and third floors of a traditional Pyrénéan house, Belle Vue has a private entrance and reserved parking for your convenience. The second level features an open plan living room, a dining area that can seat 12, and a fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities. The large breakfast bar connects the dining area and kitchen, allowing for easy interaction while cooking. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating, a flat-screen satellite TV, and a DVD player. Additionally, there is a full bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, washbasin, and a separate toilet, along with a washing machine and ironing facilities.

On the third floor, you will find three bedrooms, each capable of accommodating both a double and a single bed. All necessary linen and towels are provided. The bathroom on this level features a toilet, washbasin, and a spacious modern shower with body massage jets. The apartment boasts tall windows, creating a well-lit and airy atmosphere. Free wifi is available throughout the property.

Outside, at Beau Vallon, you can enjoy the tranquility of the Pyrénéan mountains and the fresh, unpolluted air. The shared garden offers various areas for relaxation and entertainment, including a plunge pool, a heated spa bath in a charming cedar wood chalet, an outdoor summer kitchen equipped with a plancha, barbecues, and a paella cooker. Garden games such as badminton and garden chess are available, as well as swings, a rope ladder, and a playhouse for children. Additionally, there is a boules court and a table tennis table for more active pursuits.

The Vallée de la Rotja is known for its gastronomic delights, including cheeses, honey, saffron, spirulina, charcuterie, apple juice, and delicious locally grown apples. There is a bakery within walking distance, as well as an excellent butcher, Madame Soler's cheeses, and Sailly's Cave for wine. Several outstanding restaurants can be found nearby, with one just a 5-minute walk from Belle Vue.

The area surrounding Belle Vue offers fantastic opportunities for hiking and cycling, both on and off-road. Music festivals, various festivities, and historical sites are also within reach. And for those who love winter sports, some of the best ski resorts in the French Pyrenees are only 50 minutes away.

We warmly welcome family groups, walking tours, and groups of all kinds, as well as children and pets (pets are charged at €8 per night). Our management team respects your privacy and strives to provide a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Please note that the minimum rental period is 7 nights during July and August, and 3 nights for the rest of the year. The weekly rental rate is €735 in July and August, and €650 for the rest of the year. Linen is changed weekly, and 2-week and monthly rentals are also available. Additionally, there is a cleaning fee of €85 at the end of your stay.

To reach Beau Vallon, follow these revised travel directions: Start by taking the N116 road towards Andorra for approximately 50km. After passing Villefranche de Conflent, make a left turn onto the D6 road. Continue on the D6 for 7km, following the signs that lead to Beau Vallon.
