Description for B&B:

Pailloles is a small village located in the northern part of Share and Garonne. The Farm Couderc is situated 40km away from Agen and Bergerac, 12km from Villeneuve-On-Share, 10km from Cancon, and 8km from Casseneuil. It is specifically located at the foot of Castelnaud of Gratecambe, facing the Golf course along the RN21.

The village of lodgings, known as "The Farm Couderc," sits on a 14ha domain of hilly prairies. It consists of various stone buildings, most of which date back to the 16th century, including The Barn, The Plum Oven, The Storeroom, The Cellar, The Sheepfold, and The House. These buildings offer comfortable and welcoming living spaces, complete with terraces, barbecues, and some with enclosed gardens.

For the relaxation and enjoyment of both children and adults, there are various amenities available within the village, such as a heated swimming pool with a solarium (open from April to September), activity fields for soccer, volleyball, and pétanque, game stations, a trampoline, a game room with ping-pong and baby soccer, a fitness area with SPCA, hammam, and sauna (additional fee), as well as enclosures housing Shetland ponies and dwarf goats, and a barnyard. The restaurant named "The Baptistine" is open every day and offers traditional and local dishes, available for dine-in or take-away, as well as a half-board option (for adults and children) with morning and evening meals. Theme nights are also organized during the summer season. Covered and uncovered parking spaces are provided.

During your stay, you can explore the nearby Bastides, Castles, Tasting Farms, Animation Parks, Museums, and Farmers' and Night Markets. You can also take a stroll along the Share river, visit the various lakes suitable for swimming or fishing, and discover the different vineyards of Share and Garonne, such as Buzet, Lasted it, Marmandais, and the small believed country. Additionally, the region is known for its sunny orchards and the famous Prune of Agen, which is made from dried Plum of Splices. It is also a hub for duck farming, offering delicacies like foie gras, Magret, and Garbure that will delight your taste buds.

There are plenty of sports and leisure activities to enjoy just a few kilometers away from the Farm Couderc, including horseback riding, golfing, fishing, water sports, hiking, cycling, and aviation.

To reach the Farm Couderc by road, if you are coming from Villeneuve-On-Share, travel 12km on the RN21 towards Bergerac and turn left when you reach the Golf course. If you are coming from Bergerac, be cautious after Cancon and continue on the RN21 without turning towards Pailloles. After passing Castelnaud of Gratecambe, turn right when you see the Golf course along the RN21.

Appréciations pour La Ferme Couderc, Pailloles:

Avis sur le Village de Gites de la Ferme Couderc - 47 (Lot et Garonne)
Review by: Anne, Aou 24 2010 6:21PM
