Description:

Description for B&B:

This accommodation is a charming four-storey house located in the heart of Bagnères de Bigorre in the Hautes Pyrenees. Situated in the pleasant residential square of Place Jeanne d’Albret, it is only a two-minute walk to the town center, where guests can find shops, markets, bakeries, restaurants, cafes, and churches. Recently renovated, the house still retains its original features whenever possible, maintaining its traditional French townhouse charm. With a history dating back 300 years, and even older foundations dating back 400 years, this house offers a unique and authentic experience while also providing all the necessary modern amenities.

The house features a traditional dining room adjoined by a modern kitchen. On the second floor, there are three double bedrooms, two of which are connected (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds), and another separate double bedroom. Two of the bedrooms have balconies overlooking the square. Guests staying in these bedrooms have exclusive access to the adjacent bathroom, shower, and toilet. Additionally, the third-floor attic rooms can accommodate up to three guests and provide wash sinks, as well as access to a sunny roof terrace. Another bath and shower room, along with two additional toilets, are available on the first floor.

For breakfast, guests can enjoy a choice between a continental or French-style meal, or opt for cereal, toast, and eggs. The host is happy to cater to guests' preferences, so they simply need to inform them of their desired breakfast options.

Upon request, the host is also pleased to provide evening meals for guests. With a wide repertoire and a passion for local traditional cuisine, the host offers a four-course menu accompanied by wine, which can be found on their "prices" page.

Throughout the house, Wi-Fi is available and free for guests to use. A comfortable lounge equipped with a TV, which receives both French and UK Channels, is exclusively available for guests. The host also has an extensive collection of DVDs in both languages. Guests can store their bikes and ski equipment if needed, and street parking is free. Furthermore, the host offers a comprehensive assortment of maps and guides to the region that guests are welcome to borrow.

The cost for an evening meal is 25 euros.
