Description:

Description for B&B:

We have a beautiful house located in the peaceful countryside, offering a tranquil environment without any direct neighbors. It is situated opposite a 5000 square meter park, providing a stunning 180 ° view of the surrounding hills.

We have two charming cottages available for rent: the Blue Suite on the ground floor, and either the Ochre House or the White Room on the first floor. In addition, we have a unique and retro-style accommodation option in the form of a small 1980s Eriba caravan located in the garden next to the house.

Our living quarters are on the first floor and can be accessed from the southern side of the house. We also provide table d'hôte meals with inclusive menus priced at either 20 or 28 euros. Free WiFi is available, and we are open for bookings all year round.

Alessandro and Camilla, two Italian-French enthusiasts, invite you to experience relaxation at the Glade. Our charming stone house dates back to 1781 and is nestled in the hills of southwestern Cantal, in the Auvergne Volcanoes and Lot Valley region. We are conveniently located less than 2 km from the town of Marcoles, a small medieval gem.

If you are interested in exploring the surrounding area, Marcoles serves as an ideal starting point, allowing you to embark on beautiful countryside walks and visit exceptional sites such as Conques (35 km) and Figeac (45 km). However, the Glade is also the perfect place for those seeking a slower pace, where you can immerse yourself in "dolce far niente" - reading a book, indulging in restful sleep, or simply basking in the silence while admiring the panoramic views of the Cantal, Lot, and Corrèze hills.

Our Bed and Breakfast options include the Blue Suite on the ground floor, the Ochre House or the White Room on the first floor, as well as the unusual and retro-style Eriba caravan from the 1980s. All our rooms open onto a peaceful and well-maintained terrace, providing a serene atmosphere without any direct neighbors. The terrace overlooks the expansive 5000 square meter park, while the Eriba caravan is tucked away in our garden, surrounded by trees and flowers.

The Blue Suite on the ground floor can comfortably accommodate 2 to 5 people, as the living room can be converted into a separate second bedroom. The Ochre House on the first floor is perfect for two people, and the Eriba caravan can also accommodate two adults. The White Room can accommodate 3 to 4 people and can be added to one of the other rooms to increase the capacity from 1 to 3 people.

We provide two baby cots free of charge, and the cot linen is available for an additional cost of 10 euros per stay. During the low season, couples have the option to rent the Blue Suite without the salon for 58 euros. In the high season, this option is available under certain conditions or for stays of 3 nights, priced at 62 euros.

For those seeking a unique and unconventional experience, we offer the opportunity to stay in our retro-style Eriba caravan all year round. This charming little caravan features a fixed double bed (140x190) with comfortable slats. It also has a seating area with two benches and a table, as well as a small toilet compartment. To access hot water and shower facilities, guests staying in the Eriba caravan can use a bathroom in our house. This bathroom has a direct and independent outdoor entrance. For more details and specific rates, please visit our website. Please note that we do not accept pets.
