Why not make Tours your base, located at the heart of it all? This vibrant city offers a plethora of shops, restaurants, and captivating historical and architectural sites. Explore Tours on foot, crossing the famous "Pont de fil" suspended bridge exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists – a truly memorable experience, especially at dawn or sunset. With the city center, shops, restaurants, and the old town of Tours just a short walk away, and the train station within a 20-minute walk (transport provided for heavy luggage), our cozy basement flat is the perfect place to stay.

Situated in a centuries-old house made of Tuffeau stone, the flat boasts charming exposed beams and faces south, bathing the space in warm sunlight. Enjoy your own private terrace in the courtyard. The kitchen is separate from the bedroom/living room, and the high-quality convertible sofa (2016) provides ample space for dancing to the sound of your favorite tunes on the hi-fi system (compatible with your iPod).

Bed linen, towels, and tea towels are available for an additional fee of six euros per person per stay. The bathroom is well-equipped to meet all your needs, and the fitted kitchen has everything you require. Families with babies and young children are welcome, and we provide a bed, chair, and crockery. Stay connected with internet access and make use of the mobile phone provided if necessary. Cable TV offers a range of French and foreign channels.

Conveniently located just a minute away, you will find a large car park, bus stop, shops, cafes, and restaurants. The historical neighborhood, situated by the Loire River, is perfect for exploring on foot or bike, with the "Loire à vélo" cycle track nearby. For those who prefer jogging or relaxing on the grass, a spacious park along the riverside, complete with tennis courts, awaits you.

If our schedules align, we would be delighted to welcome you with a glass of the famous local Vouvray sparkling wine (produced just 5 km away) and, if available, even offer the opportunity to relax in our jacuzzi. Bikes are available for your use within the city limits. The flat is independent, apart from the shared courtyard with other tenants. You will have access to a designated area for bikes and garden furniture, as well as a washing machine.

I am here to assist you and provide guidance on renting a car, finding special places, and offering advice on your visits. If you're in need of relaxation, a jacuzzi is also available at my place for a small fee – a chance for you to unwind and engage in conversation with us, provided we are around and available.

Immerse yourself in the fascinating historical environment, with its medieval houses, narrow lanes, troglodyte dwellings, and even your own cave-like house. The neighborhood has a cozy village-like atmosphere, with a grocery store, bakery, butcher, newsagents, bus stop, and a charming footbridge to cross the majestic LOIRE river.
