Located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, the scenic Cirque de Navacelles awaits your exploration. Nestled within a deep valley measuring 325 meters, the village of Navacelles boasts stunning 10th century houses that add to its charm. The crystal-clear river Vis, known as the cleanest in the province of Herault, cascades down a magnificent 14-meter waterfall, creating an idyllic spot for summertime swimming. The untouched beauty of the surrounding environment is adorned with a variety of butterflies, flowers, and plants, providing an enchanting backdrop for unforgettable walks, such as the GR7 trail. Additionally, day trips to Montpellier, the Mediterranean Sea, the winter sports area of Mont Aigoual, smaller places of interest, or even impressive caves are easily accessible from this remarkable destination.
