Directions: The location is 22 km away from La Rochelle and 12 km away from Rochefort sur mer. It takes approximately 3 hours to reach from Paris by TGV (plus bus or car rental). Bordeaux and Poitiers are about 1 hour and 30 minutes away via the motorway (take the Rochefort exit). La Rochelle Airport is nearby, with options for bus or car rental. To access the destination, take the RN 137 between La Rochelle and Rochefort (a free, 2x2 lane road) and exit at "Ile d'Aix - Fouras." Continue towards the town center. Regardless of whether you're coming from the south or north, you will always reach the destination. Look for the church and the square with the kiosk. From there, take the boulevard named Allard that leads to the seafront. The Koantic house, characterized by its white stone and blue shutters, is located halfway between the church (50 meters away) and the seafront (80 meters away).
