Description:

Description for B&B:

St. John Commandery of Artin is a unique guest house that offers a charming living experience surrounded by court, cellars, and a beautiful garden. Originally a hospital order of St. John of Jerusalem, this historic Commandery was transformed into a farmhouse after the Revolution. Today, the barn, stables, bread oven dug in the rock, and other original features still remain, adding to the character of the place.

Our four guest rooms, named Aunis, Gamay, Jasnières, and Vouvray, pay tribute to the richness of the surrounding vineyards. Additionally, we have a spacious family room called Jasnières that can accommodate up to five people. The family room is situated in the old granary of the farmhouse and boasts exposed beams and polished plaster, creating a cozy and contemporary ambiance. For those who enjoy indulging in a leisurely morning, we offer a Sunday brunch that is not to be missed.

Upon reservation, we invite our guests to join us for the "meal of the Commandery," where we provide a friendly atmosphere to introduce you to our regional producers. Our passionate householder is an expert in food and wine and takes great pleasure in preparing delicious alternatives for our guests. Be sure to inquire about this unique dining experience.

To further enhance your stay, we offer a range of activities including tasting courses, workshops, and sensory taste games for guests of all ages. These activities are designed to provide a fun and educational experience while exercising your taste buds. One such activity is our wine tasting session, where you can learn the art of wine tasting and expand your knowledge of wines while enjoying delightful moments with your loved ones.

Come and experience the charm and hospitality of St. John Commandery of Artin.
