Welcome to the enchanting family mansion and grounds owned by Monique and Jean-Louis Mora, nestled in the picturesque Aude countryside. Just a short distance of 1 mile (1.5 km) from the delightful village of Ouveillan, this historic property offers a tranquil escape. The famous "Canal du Midi" is also conveniently located just 1.5 miles (2 km) away, while the captivating destinations of Gruissan, Narbonne-Plage, and Saint-Pierre-la-Mer are within a 12-mile (20 km) radius. Alternatively, immerse yourself in the serene ambiance of the nearby towns of Corbières and Minervois.

Our gracious hosts are delighted to present two spacious rooms, each boasting its own ensuite bathroom, thoughtfully furnished by the lady of the house. Start your day with a hearty breakfast served either amidst the shade of two-hundred-year-old trees or in the inviting dining room. For those with specific dietary preferences, vegetarian or vegan breakfasts can be arranged upon request.

The Majorelle Bedroom, named after the renowned French cabinet-maker and decorator Louis Majorelle from the Nancy school of modern art, offers a clear view of the magnificent Lebanese cedar that graces the south garden of the house. Indulge in the comfort and tranquility of its exquisite decor.

Alternatively, you may choose to stay in Grandmother's Bedroom, which exudes the charm of yesteryears. Its south-facing position bathes the room in delightful sunshine, ensuring a truly pleasant experience.

Directions

To get to Domaine de Fraissinet from Narbonne, follow the N9 towards Béziers. At the roundabout, take the D13 towards Cuxac d'Aude. Keep going until you reach Ouveillan. Drive through the village and pass the roundabout at the pharmacy. After 50m, take a right onto the D418. The Domaine de Fraissinet will be on your left, about 1.5km from the village of Ouveillan.

If you're starting from Béziers, take exit 36 on the highway and turn right onto the D64. Follow the signs for Montady and Capestang (D11). After driving for about 7km past Capestang, you'll reach the hamlet of "Crusade". Take a left onto the D13 towards Ouveillan. At the first roundabout, take a left and then after 150m, take a left again onto the D418. After driving for 1.5km, you'll arrive at Domaine de Fraissinet, which will be on your left.
